Jyoti Rawlinson is a native of the UK who spent time in France, Germany, Australia and India before settling in the USA. She has been using energy-based bodywork with individual clients and groups since 1990, and has offered her own style of massage and energy work in Sedona since 1995. Originally trained in Holistic Massage and Rebalancing (an offshoot of Rolfing), Jyoti’s work has continued to develop over the years, enhanced by further studies in Trager, Craniosacral Therapy (both Upledger and biodynamic), Shiatsu and Myoskeletal Alignment Technique. Since 1999 she has been specializing in The Eden Method, after meeting and studying for several years with its founder, Donna Eden. She has a strong foundation in meditation, which she identifies as a key element of her work, having spent much of a five year period at Osho's ashram in Pune, India - a life-changing experience. In recent years she has been working with breast cancer patients through the Healing Consciousness Foundation, established by Dr Beth Dupree, one of the country’s leading breast cancer surgeons. 

 

Jyoti's wellness work arises from a deeply intuitive place, seamlessly moving between the physical and subtle energy bodies, restoring balance at every level. Embedded patterns are identified and untangled, contributing to our ability to enjoy vibrant health and happiness. When we clear the clutter, it allows expansion and the possibility of being fully present to ourselves and life. Jyoti is committed to guiding clients toward self-empowerment by teaching simple at-home techniques to further the progress of what is achieved in the sessions.

Jyoti continues to be excited about and challenged by the growth we are currently experiencing in the field of healing arts. More people than ever are seeking alternative and complementary healthcare methods, including bodywork, and humanity is making great leaps forward in its understanding of bodymind, energy and health. She is committed to continuing education and training, and additionally learns a great deal from the more than 10,000 clients she has worked with in clinical practice.
